Overview

Kippa is a financial technology app designed for small business owners. The Kippa Money feature is a new addition to the app that allows users to send and receive money, purchase airtime and mobile data, and pay bills like electricity and cable TV.

Problem

Small business owners often struggle with managing their finances and keeping track of their transactions. They need a simple and convenient way to send and receive money, pay bills, and purchase airtime and mobile data without having to visit multiple service providers.

Objective

The objective of the Kippa Money feature is to provide small business owners with a single platform to manage all their financial transactions. The feature aims to make it easier and more convenient for users to manage their finances and save time.

Design & Usability

  • Onboarding: The Kippa Money feature is introduced to new users during the sign-up process, where they are asked to verify their identity and link their bank account.
  • Send & Receive Money: Users can easily send and receive money from their contacts within the app. They can also view a history of their transactions and manage their contacts.
  • Purchase Airtime & Mobile Data: Users can purchase airtime and mobile data for themselves and their employees within the app. They can also view their transaction history and manage their preferred providers.
  • Pay Bills: Users can pay their bills for electricity and cable TV within the app. They can also view their bill history and manage their providers.
  • Push Notifications: Users receive push notifications to remind them of upcoming bill payments and keep them on track with their finances.

Results

The Kippa Money feature has been well received by small business owners. They appreciate the convenience of having all their financial transactions in one place and the time saved by not having to visit multiple service providers. The push notifications have also helped users stay on top of their bill payments and avoid late fees.
